Singer and Entertainer

Welcome
Hi Folks
My career began in 1983 when i was invited to join the duo of John Joyce (Paddy Joe) and the late Michael Masterson. We performed in pubs in the village of Mulranny near my own home town of Newport , County Mayo on the West Coast of Ireland.
I branched out as a solo entertainer in 1985, received a "Connaught Telegraph Newspaper" award in 1988 and then emigrated to the North West of England. I began appearing on the circuit under the stage name "The Mayo Man" which was thought up by fellow musician Sammy Moore.

Highlights of my career to date are:

Appearing at The Royal Liverpool Empire Theatre on St Patrick's Day 17th March 1991 in a show hosted by Radio Merseyside and "An Evening With Peter Mylett" at the same venue on 11th November 1991.
Releasing three albums on the Foam Records Lable : Requested Favourites, Something Old-Something New and Promises, under the direction of the late Connie Lee, great friend and mentor.
Being selected to perform at three of Daniel O Donnell's birthday parties.
Being voted best male vocalist of 2012 by readers of The Irish World Newspaper.
For three decades i have being lucky to do what I love most, that is sing to live audiences and with your support I will continue to do so for many years to come.
